Bread Pudding

Ingredients
3 eggs 
1 qt. milk 
1 pt. broken bread pieces 
grated lemon rind 
butter 
raisins
Preparation
Beat yolks of 3 eggs. Combine with milk and add sugar to taste. Pour over bread pieces. Add grated lemon rind, lumps of butter and raisins to taste. Sit pan in hot water and bake at 350° until set. Prepare meringue with remaining egg whites. Spread on pudding and bake until brown.
