Buttermilk Pie

2 cups sugar
½ cup butter
3 eggs beaten
1 cup buttermilk
3 tbsp flour
dash of nutmeg
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and flour. Fold in buttermilk and nutmeg. Bake in an uncooked pie shell for approximately 45 minutes or until a knife, when inserted, comes out clean.
(Make pie crust with lard and all-purpose flour.)
